Our approach
The base decides, not the paver
Base preparation
Paving that sinks almost always sinks because of the base — not the paver. So this is not the place to cut corners.
Falls and water
Every paved surface has to send water somewhere. We set the falls and the channel drains before the first paver goes down.
Edges and transitions
The difference between paved and finished is the edges and the transitions to green. That is the same standard we apply to lawns.

Paving and concrete — questions
Do you also do the base and the excavation?
Yes. Excavation, base preparation and drainage are part of the same job — that is in fact why the paving lasts. If drainage has to run under the paving, we do that first, in the same go.
How big are the retaining walls you build?
We build formwork and concrete for low retaining walls — the kind that hold the ground beside a yard, driveway or garden. For tall retaining structures that need structural design and a permit we are not the right address, and we will say so straight away.
Do you also do the green areas around the paving?
Yes — that is our core business. After paving we can move straight on to planting and the lawn, so the result looks finished rather than assembled from two separate jobs.
Can paving and asphalt be combined?
Yes. A common combination is a paved yard with an asphalted driveway, separated by a kerb. Tell us what you have in mind and we will suggest how to split it.
