2. What personal data we process and why
2.1 Contact form and email
When you submit an enquiry via the form or write to us by email, we process: your name, email address, phone number, job location, company name (if provided), the content of your message and any attached photos.
Purpose: handling the enquiry, preparing a quote and communicating with you.
Legal basis: taking steps at your request prior to entering into a contract (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR).
Attach photos thoughtfully: pictures of areas and plants, not of people or other unnecessary subjects.
2.2 Technical data and enquiry records
To keep the website running and secure, the hosting automatically records standard server logs (IP address, access time, requested URL). To limit abuse of the form, only a hashed value of the sender's IP address is stored for a short time (up to one hour).
In addition to being emailed, every submitted enquiry is also saved to an internal record on the server — as a backup so no enquiry is lost, and as proof of submission. Besides the form data, this record also includes the sender's IP address and a timestamp. The record is protected and not publicly accessible.
Legal basis: legitimate interest in the secure operation of the site, preventing abuse and reliably handling enquiries (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).
2.3 Visitor analytics
We use Google Analytics 4 (provided by Google Ireland Limited) to measure visits. The service loads only after your consent via the cookie banner — until you give it, none of its scripts or cookies are loaded. IP addresses are anonymised.
Purpose: visit statistics and improving the site's content.
Legal basis: your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR), which you may withdraw at any time.

3. Who we share data with
We do not sell data and do not share it for marketing. It can be accessed only by our processors, to the extent needed for operation:
- the hosting and email provider (hitrost.net) — the server infrastructure on which the website runs and the internal enquiry records are kept, and through which email is sent and received.
4. Retention
We keep enquiries and the related communication — including the internal record of received enquiries — for as long as needed to handle them and possibly conclude the work, then delete them, unless tax or other regulations require retention (e.g. issued invoices). The IP address in the record is kept only as long as reasonable for security and evidentiary purposes. Technical logs and the hashed IP value used to limit abuse are kept short-term within the hosting settings.
5. Your rights
You can at any time request access to your data, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing or portability, and you can object to processing. Send your request to info@robaum.si. If you believe we process data unlawfully, you can lodge a complaint with the Slovenian Information Commissioner (Dunajska cesta 22, 1000 Ljubljana, www.ip-rs.si (opens in a new tab)).
6. Cookies
6.1 How we handle cookies
On your first visit we ask for consent via a banner. Until you decide, no non-essential cookie and no third-party script is loaded. Declining is as easy as accepting, and the site works exactly the same.
6.2 Essential local storage
When you decide, only your choice is stored in your browser so that we do not ask again on every visit. This is not a tracking cookie and is never sent to the server:

6.3 Analytics cookies (only with consent)

Data is processed within the Google Analytics service with IP anonymisation. We use no advertising or profiling cookies.
6.4 How to change your choice
You can change your decision at any time via the link in the footer. If you decline analytics after previously accepting, we delete its cookies and reload the page.
6.5 Maps and embedded content
The contact page includes a map of our location (Google Maps). It does not load without your decision — until you accept cookies or click "Show the map", your browser sends no request to Google. If you accept cookies, the map appears automatically; otherwise it stays hidden until you open it with a click yourself. Either way, once displayed it connects to Google servers and reveals your IP address and browser details. If you later withdraw your consent, we reload the page and the map is hidden again. The same applies to the "Open in Google Maps" link, which opens in a new tab. We embed no other third-party content.
6.6 Managing cookies in your browser
You can also review and delete stored cookies and local storage at any time in your browser settings.
7. Website content and copyright
The content on robaum.si is informational and does not constitute a binding offer. Only a written agreement or a confirmed quote for a specific project is binding. We reserve the right to change the content without prior notice.
The texts, graphic elements and structure of the site are protected by copyright. Reproduction for commercial purposes without written consent is not permitted.
Most photographs on this site are our own, taken on our sites, and show work we actually carried out. Some service pages (green area maintenance, pruning, planting) still use symbolic photos from the Unsplash platform, used in accordance with the Unsplash licence, which permits commercial use. Metadata, including location data, has been stripped from the published photographs.
8. Limitation of liability
We strive to keep the information on this site accurate and up to date, but we are not liable for any errors or for damage arising from the use of the site. The site may contain links to third-party websites, for whose content we are not responsible.

We may update this policy; the current version is always published on this page with its effective date.
